CHAPTER SEVEN:MUSIC:
Music is characteristic of almost every religion. It may be holy, as with the Psalms of David, or it may be demonic, as with Druid Witchcraft music. Islam has no music. There is no song book, no singing at the mosque, and Islam is not in the everyday music of the Muslim. The only music in the Middle East is a compromise of the teaching of Muhammed, and many Arab writers are now trying to justify music without offending Muhammed. This is very strange for a religion that claims to be an extension of the Bible. This will be a short section because Muhammed had no patience for music:

Attested by Ahmed, Ibn Mahjah Same reference, No. 283, Abu Omahmah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'None raised up his voice with a song but Allah sent him two devils upon his shoulders who beat his chest with their heels till he stopped.' Attested by Tirmizi. It is grossly arrogant for the Mullahs to praise Jesus as a good prophet, for he sang hymns at the Last Supper. This means Jesus had two devils. This illustrates the double minded ways of Islam. They praise and flatter in one breath and damn with the next. The Bible, Matthew 26:30 And when they (Jesus and his disciples) had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Al Hadis, Book 2, Chap. 10, No. 4, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Bells are the singing instruments of the devil.' Attested by Muslim. What a jolly fellow. How did Muhammed get such a sour attitude toward music? He tolerated singing only at non-religious festivals, but there was no singing at prayer times, at the mosque, or in any religious events. Musicians were of no interest to Muhammed. Al Hadis, Book 2, Chap. 12, No. 20, Na'fe reported: I was with Ibn Omar on a journey. He heard the sound of a flute and put his fingers into his ears and turned to go another way. Then he said to me after we walked some distance: 'O Na'fe! do you hear anything?' I replied: 'No.' Then he took his fingers out of his ears and said: 'I was with the Messenger of Allah. He heard the sound of a flute and did what I have done.' Attested by Ahmed, Abu Daud. Muhammed was very superstitious, so he feared strange sounds. His fear of music shows that Islam had no power to change the culture of its day. Even now, the chief culture of Islam is rooted in Pre-Islamic Bedhoin culture.
Page 74 Al Hadis, Book 2, Chap. 12, No. 25, Qatadah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah never sent a prophet who had a sweet voice.' Attested by Tirmizi. It is a dull prophet who cannot tolerate music under the inspiration of God as in the Psalms of David. Worse, this paranoid Muhammed attacked any prophet who didn't hate music like he did.
THE BIBLE SANCTIFIES AND DEMANDSMUSIC FROM THE BELIEVERBible, Psalms 40:1-3, I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Those who truly belong to God have a song in their mouth which God put there! If Muhammed had no song in his mouth for Allah, then we must assume that Allah and Muhammed were not of the same mind as Jehovah. Jesus was a singing Savior as we see next: Bible, Matthew 26:30, And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. This was the night before Jesus was to be crucified, yet He wanted to sing praises to God! The Apostle Paul told the Church that they MUST sing: Bible, Ephesians 5:18-19, And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; This is why Bible believing churches today have books of spiritual songs always ready to sing, and Christians have sung at the worst of times as Paul and Silas did in prison: Bible, Acts 16:25, And at midnight Paul and Silas (who were in prison) prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. Muhammed lied when he claimed that there are no singing prophets, how about Habakkuk? Bible, Habakkuk 3:1, Speaking of his own prophecy-- A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth (musical instrument). Verse 19, The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. Habakkuk even invented the instrument to accompany the prophecy he gave from God! Page 75 __________End of Sub-topic__________
We have seen that Muhammed's claim, that he extended the Bible by His revelations in the Koran and Hadith, is impossible since the God of the Bible gave much of his revelation to be set to music. Jesus loved to sing, as did the Apostles. Allah is a god of no melody, indeed, no sweet voice comes from the god of the sands of Arabia! What a sterile and cold faith which cannot put its joys, hopes, and doctrines into song! Allah cannot be the God of the Bible, because the God of David and Solomon ordered us to sing about Jehovah: Bible, Psalms 104:33, I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Bible, Psalms 105:2, Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Bible, Proverbs 29:6, In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice. By discouraging and forbidding singing of praise to Allah of Islam, Muhammed showed us that Allah and Jehovah God of the Bible are mutually alien to one another. Since Muhammed forbid the Muslims to sing of their faith, we must agree with Solomon in the last text above, Muhammed is "an evil man," and in his doctrine "there is a snare." Page 76
