This debate is raging in the UK and Ireland, but it helps all people around the world to realize that the Roman Catholic Church is:
First, Lying. Upbeat priests are just plain fabricating a Protestant Catholicism in order to beat back the forces of Bible believing evangelism.
Second, Desperate. Rome is losing hundreds of thoBlipnds of followers due to Bible study and reason. Catholics are thinking and asking questions, and the priests' answers are not satisfying the seeker.
Let us not hold back the truth from all who will listen.

Patrick McCafferty needs to be firmly refuted in his claim that the Roman Catholic Church and its members faith is firmly placed in the Lord Jesus Christ. The facts are clear having question many 'Roman Catholics' myself in and around the "Golden Mile"in Belfast that their faith was in everything else but Christ.
Roman Catholics put their trust in the church and not in Christ, their faith is in the sacraments not in Christ, they trust in Mary and offer up prayers to Mary who would have to be God to be able to hear them. Roman Catholics put their faith in the Pope whom they call "Holy Father"[Romans 3:23]. The facts are if a Catholic is really honest they would admit that Roman Catholics trust in everything else but Jesus Christ. If one compares the teaching of the Roman Church against Scripture we find their are big differences!
However we will only look at one as their is really only one test that matters and no matter how much Patrick McCafferty may claim that the Roman Catholic Church is Christian the facts prove otherwise. This test is set out in Scripture in [Gal 1:6-12] were Paul curses those that preach another gospel which is not another.
Their is only one true gospel and this is clearly defined by Jesus Christ in [John 3:16] and by the Apostle Paul in [1 Cor 15:1-4] "...how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that he was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:" This is the gospel, this is the good news, and Paul declares that this gospel is indeed "the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth."
Paul was asked by the jailer in Acts a most vital question "What must I do to be saved? Paul answered "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." [Acts 16:30-31] Paul preached this same gospel everywhere he went, he never appealed to some "Pope"in Rome or to the "Roman Catholic Church"which in fact never existed. Paul appealed to the OT and preached none other things that those which Moses and the Prophets say should come. [Acts 26:21-23] Paul reasoned out of the Scriptures [Acts 17:2-3] and as it is written mightily convinced the blips, and that publicly, showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was Christ. [Acts 18:28] This was how Paul won lost souls to Christ and he followed clearly in the footsteps of Christ who taught the very same things. [Luke 24:25-27; Luke 24:44-49]
Is the gospel of Rome the gospel as defined above? Is this how Rome preach their gospel by appealing to the Old Testament like Christ and Paul. NO IT IS NOT! The gospel according to Rome is [1] Salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church and its Sacraments [Acts 4:12; John 14:6] THIS IS ANOTHER GOSPEL [2] Salvation Through Baptism and good works [Eph 2:8-9] THIS IS ANOTHER GOSPEL. In fact Rome have indeed added so much more to the gospel which I cannot list but they are different rules and regulations which are necessary for salvation according to Roman teaching.[See the Catechism of the Catholic Church para 846,1129, 1815,2010,2027,2068,161,162,1254,1255... etc ]
Rome finally teach that it is a sin to say you are saved.[CCC Para 2090-2092]However the Scriptures teach otherwise in [John 10:27-30] and in [1 John 5: 11-13] The gospel according to Rome is another Gospel which is not another. So therefore Patrick and his church come under this curse in [Gal 1:6-10] and what Paul writes are indeed the commandments of God [1 Cor 14:37].
