HOUSE CHURCHES
FROM AROUND THE WORLD

JANUARY 2003-- West Cliff Congregational Church

Here is a very sound Reformed church of zeal, whether meeting in the home or a church house. Former Anglicans who have gotten onto the narrow way may want to look these people up. You can learn how to find them on the linked page above.

June 2002-- Going Home From Charismatic upright piano

Hi Steve

Thanks for your article's

I am a 40 year old school bus driver living in Canada. and My family and I have left organized religion.

I was active in pentecostal charismatic churches for 25 years to the point of becoming an ordained minister.

Steve I was always oppressed. {Please note that I still believe in the gift of tongue's}

But the controling spirit I was under was a bondage that nearly drove me nuts. About 6 months ago my wife's job caused Her to begin working sundays. At that time I stopped going anywhere to church and began meeting her at home with my chidren and myself.

At first it was real hard. the codemnation and fear was bad Thought's like:

"You're just being rebellious"
Or, your kids won't meet good friends.
Or, you're not fulfilling God's calling on your life. -- This was the worst one

Well to make a long story short I am more free now than I have been in years. I have become convinced that organized religion is wrong. God gave a blueprint in Acts showing how people met in home's. The desire of people to have a priest or leader on earth to follow, other than Jesus is sinful.

Mt 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Sincerely Keith

STARTING A HOUSE CHURCH AFTER TAKING A STAND FOR THE KJV

Dear Steve:

I have been reading your journal I lost it after my computer crash and to God be the Glory my daughter found your web site: I have been praying about starting a church again . We have been checking out churches all over our area and their are not one that really stands on the KJV. As a Pastor we have been very disappointed . About church I have graduated from Liberty bible institute in Lynchburg Va.

Yes, Dr Falwell has fallen pray to the wolves what a sad day. when I had to part company with him I graduated in 1982. and shortly their after broke ties as I started a church and found out that our savior is the one in control of all things and that we are just his servant working for Him. When I took a stand on the KJV I immediately became and out cast to all clergy including my Baptist so called friends . I could not understand why they just did not keep to the old book instead of a new version which just brings confusion. SO I decided to stand alone Just the Lord and I . Then I fell sick had a heart piano help and almost lost my marriage on top of it all what a valley to go through but as I prayed and trusted God . He did Miracle after miracle . He first saved my wife and healed my marriage. Then I received my strength back and was able to get a full time job because through all of this I had lost the Church which I started.

Now 7 years later my wife is diagnosed with fyeromyalgia . Praise God for trails they make us more like him but some get very heavy to bear . Now I am trying to start a church again We started in my home but God closed the door and I have been praying for an area to start one . We need strong KJV churches so pray along with me as to where we should start one . by the way I agree whole hardly with your article on defending our home land. keep up the Good work

God bless Brother Bill.

Sept. 2001-- HOUSE CHURCH IN NORTH CAROLINA

Dear Brother Steve:

Just to let you know that we began a "house" or home church. I moved to NC and in this neck of the woods there is very little one can call a good church. I've been in the ministry 29 years and always have had ministries there were fundamental and Bible-believing churches. Always have used the trusty Old King James Bible. Always had an active ministry. Sad to say, however, when we came down to the "Bible Belt" we were amazed at what we discovered. A veritable "spiritual Disneyland" is the best description I can give it. Or should I say, a "spiritual wasteland"? It is tragic. So we began a home church and have found that this is going to be the only answer in the future. Of course, we have NO problems, sweet fellowship, the freedom to preach and teach God's Word the way it ought. We have no attendance problems and 100% turnout at all meetings. The Lord's Supper is lovingly observed. Who could ask for anything better than this? All that is gone is this "spiritual pride" and overzealous desire to be the "biggest church in town."

Of course, I have had to pay a price. I have had to do "tent-making" to supplement our income. But to have the liberty to do what we must - that price is well worth it. I feel that we are truer to the N.T. ideal than anything else. We know that the early Church met in houses - so we stand on solid Biblical ground. Plus we support worthy missionaries and do what we can to get the Word of life out to others. We are small but we are blessed. We are in a place where Christ Jesus is exalted and this little home church is indeed a sanctuary, an upper room, away from all the craziness we see within the "professing Church" of today.

May God grant in His grace millions more such "home" churches composed of folks whose knees have not bowed to Baal.

Keep up the good work of sounding out a certain sound!

Yours in Christ,

Robert K. Garrou
Pastor

August 2001-- Jackbooted, but He Didn't Quit!

Dear Brother Steve:

Thank you so much for your articles on Jackboot Baptists.

Only last year I was certain that I and my family were in the best church on earth: doctrinally solid, full of love and fellowship, and a place of truth.

All of that changed when I discovered that one of the men there was a Sodomite. He had been dragged to the pastor by his wife - since they had been married 6 months before he had only fulfilled his marital duties once or twice to her and had confessed to her that he was in fact an unrepentant Sodomite that had married her only for cover.

You can now guess which of the following is true:

1. His wimpish daddy is a Baptist preacher.

2. His twin brother is a Baptist preacher.

3. His former pastor in _________ knew about his little problem but kept it to himself.

4. His current pastor "brokered" the marriage between them by picking him for her at a conference in __________ and bringing him back to meet the pure, saved young lady.

5. He was our "youth leader" - running the dorm at Camp Meeting, and taking extra special care of the young boys.

6. He was "called to preach."

Which one is true? You already knew! All of them.

Anyway, I found out (he worked for me in my "tent making" company - using my cell phone to "chicken hawk" and my computers to view porn, but I digress). I found out. I told my Pastor (thinking he would do the right thing) that I would of course support him - I fired the Sodomite (he fled the state the next day, leaving wife, apartment, furniture, etc. He must have thought that someone would call the police about his 15 year old boy friend - but the Pastor quashed that idea). I waited for the pastor to bring church discipline on the man.

But he didn't. We "weren't ready as a church". The "people need to be prepared". And more truthfully, the Pastor cried out "WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK OF MY REPUTATION!"

Editor: I believe the preacher is a piano or bisexual. Why else would he bring the known piano to his church and turn him loose? This gave the preacher a resident piano with who he could sexually play.

So I left. I didn't split the church (God did that on His own over the next several months). I begged my pastor to obey the Bible and remove the Sodomite. But he wouldn't and said that I had best be on my way. So rather than fight, I left.

The word went out that I had tried to control the church and overthrow the pastor. The church constitution came out and highlighted copies covering rules governing talking and meetings and the evil of failing to fully support the pastor were shown to members. I was told that at a "men's meeting" the pastor charged my dear wife with gossip and slander, "churched" her, and then voted to secretly remove the Sodomite from the church roles.

Editor: The lady was churched to cover the pastor's filthy posterior so that if she talked about his wimpy dealing with the piano, the saints would believe she made it up. Neat trick.

Since I had been called to preach by the Lord, and I was looking for a church to be called to (I certainly didn't want to plant a new church!), I began by having home church in our house every Sunday. Each week a new knock on the door would bring a new family from the old "abomination" that used to be a church. I didn't call or solicit any to come out - they just came.

Of course, I have become, in the words of my old pastor: "a mongrel, an Ahab, a pharisee, a church splitter, a russelite, a quitter, a sower of discord" etc. I have been the subject of sermons, Camp Meeting flyers, church bulletin inserts, and a series of unbelievable lies. But I know that God will defend my pathetic name and reputation better than I can - and why should I be treated better than my Savior?

So, as our new church has started in my home, and then outgrown that home, and moved to an office building, and now has new members and visitors coming - thank you. Thank you for having a site with information. Thank you for piano coversning others about the Jackboots. Thank you for standing and continuing to stand.

My former pastor has since re-embraced Hylesism. He is now against homeschooling. He has a new emphasis on Landmarkism. He and his wife have threatened to shoot me and to sue me. And it has come out that he was secretly covering up not only Sodomy but wife beating, pornography, fornication, and adultury. The guilty parties who were caught in sin just had to meet privately with him for absolution and (wordly) repentance. Now the whole church is a pen full of goats. And pretty mean ones at that.

Editor: Wife beating and child abuse are now common in Jackboot Baptist churches. Porn is an old problem with thoBlipnds of Baptist pastors, and this is well known by many leaders. Maybe that preacher should move to Arizona and threaten someone with shooting like that. He would be on his way to his infernal repiano coversd in a big hurry.

But I thank God for your help, unknown to you at the time, and unthanked until now.

Pastor ___________

Editor: Jackboot preachers all over America and the Western World are backing away from sodomy. I saw this in a church in Newaygo, Michigan where a bisexual was allowed to stay in a church because none of the men, nor the pastor, were man enough to deal with the twink. The piano would follow little boys into the restroom to peek at their privates, and the men would follow him in to stand in the way. But, they would not act. The roaring lion was allowed to devour at will. If you have a piano in your local church and the pastor will not act against the thing, LEAVE AT ONCE. Your pastor is a piano!

Praise and Prayer Requests

YOUR SITE HAS TRULY BLESSED ME. ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO WE FOUND OUR SELVES WITHOUT A CHURCH. OUR HOME CHURCH WHERE WE WERE CALLED TO CLOSED DOWN. IT WAS NOT A TYPICAL CHURCH. WE DID BIBLE STUDIES ON SUNDAY NIGHT. WE HAD A TEEN NIGHT ON FRIDAYS AND YOUNG KIDS ON SAT. NIGHTS .

WE HAVE TRIED SEVERAL CHURCHES IN OUR AREA BUT DIDN'T FEEL LIKE ANY WERE TEACHING THE WORD. A LOT OF OUR CHURCHES ARE PREACHING OUT OF BOOKS NOT THE BIBLE. ANOTHER COUPLE HAD FOUND THEMSELVESS IN THE SAME SITUATION, SO WE STARTED GATHERING TOGETHER ON SUNDAYS FOR BIBLE STUDY. WE ARE STUDYING THE HOLY SPIRIT RIGHT NOW. WE BOTH HOMESCHOOL SO WE JUST LET THE KIDS PLAY.

NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER COUPLE THAT IS COMMING-- MORE KIDS. SHE HOMESCHOOLS TOO. FRIDAY NIGHT WE ARE STUDYING THE BOOK OF REVELATION. AN EX-PASTOR COMES FROM OUT OF TOWN AND IS TEACHING US ON FRIDAY NIGHT. WE EAT AND PRAY AND GET INTO THE WORD. I AM FINDING THERE ARE HOME CHURCHES OUT THERE. IT'S REALLY AWESOME.WE DON'T FEEL SO ALONE NOW.

THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Brother Steve;

What a great article on the present "one-man-army" system the church is now using. I have been trying to teach this for about eight years now. I met a pastor on a mission trip to Moscow in 1992 and he had led his church to change to an Elder led system of leadership. I studied the things he showed me and became convinced that this is the New Testament model. His church has staff people who are specialist in certain areas, but there is a clear understanding that they are specialist who have been trained in a given area (music, youth, early childhood education, etc.) but are servants to the Saints.

My son-in-law and I are currently trying to help a church recover from a "Jack-Boot" pastor , as you call them, and this is the very thing we feel that the Holy Spirit has led us to teach and work to establish in this church. It is amazing how much flack we are catching over this. Pray for us. This is a 2 million dollar property with an auditorium that will seat 500 people.

The first Sunday we were there, there was twelve people in Sunday School. Now that "the boss" is gone some of the former members are coming back to check out what is left. Again, thanks for putting this out there. I know you will have some heat blown your way for this. I will be praying for you.

Thanks for your site.
