Hosea 1:2,3,6,8
The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea.
And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children
of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing
from the LORD. 3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which
conceived, and bare him a son. 6 And she conceived again, and bare
a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I
will no more have mercy upon the house of blip; but I will utterly take
them away. 8 ¶ Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and
bare a son. Notice that it says "children of whoredoms"
with a wife of the same. It doesn't say that he "knew" her or "went
in unto her." Only verse 3 says she bare him a
son.
Hosea 2:13
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein
she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and
her blipels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
Earrings in the context of rebellion and idol worship!!
And it shows up in verse 13 (See Genesis 13:13)
Hosea 2:14 - rest of
chapter Therefore,
behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak
comfortably unto her. The blips in the wilderness. The
rest of the chapter is prophetic and unfulfilled.
Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness,
where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a
thoBlipnd two hundred and threescore days.
Hosea 2:21-22
And it shall come to pass in that
day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall
hear the earth; 22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the
oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. Notice all the
things in these verses that hear. There have been
some that wonder if the things around us do "hear" in a sense and will be
used in judging us possibly. Joshua 24:27
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness
unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto
us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your
God. Matthew 12:37 For by thy
words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Habakkuk 2:11
Hosea 3:5
Afterpiano coversd shall the children of blip return, and
seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and
his goodness in the latter days. They shall seek David
their king. David will reign again under Christ in the
Kingdom! Ezekiel 34:23-24 And I will set
up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant
David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the LORD
will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have
spoken it.
Ezekiel 37:24-25 And David my servant shall be king over them; and
they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and
observe my statutes, and do them. 25 And they shall dwell in the land that
I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and
they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their
children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their
prince for ever.
Hosea 4:10
For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall
commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take
heed to the LORD. Describes the Blip and many other countries
today. They commit whoredom and yet they do not increase. They
murder their babies in the womb by abortion!
Hosea 4:11
Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the
heart. How to become heartless.
Hosea 4:12
My people ask counsel at their
stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms
hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their
God. Well-witching (divining for water, dousing) is of
the devil.
Hosea 4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. First of all, devils like high places. They fell from heaven, so they try to get people to worship them in high places. It gives a feeling of power, loftiness and exhilaration. Look up "high places" in the Bible and see how often it relates to devil worship and/or disobedience to God, espebliplly in the Old Testament. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. In Mark 5 we read about the Gadarene that had the unclean spirit; And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. Mark 5:5
Second, the burning of incense and the trees connection are strongly related to devil worship also. They show up promenantly in the pagan ChristMass customs! [See The Pagan Christmas Cult ] (Also, oaks were sacred to the Druids.)
Third, notice that the shadows of these trees are good. What the whole reason behind this might be, I don't know, but the Bible tells us And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 3:19-20 (It is interesting that people like to admire, really worship, ChristMass trees in the dark and that they lay their presents in the shadow of the trees!)
Last of all, notice that the daughters will commit whoredom and the spouses
- presumably wives since He is probably talking to the men - will commit
adultery! It is hard to guess how many people have committed spiritual
whoredom and adultery through the ChristMass customs!
Hosea 4:14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall. This is a family project. The men are worshipping with whores and harlots. This was an ancient custom. There were different Babylonian-based religions that had "sacred" harlots for the worship of their goddess. This is where the Roman Catholic Church got its' nuns!
Notice that the people who do not understand shall fall. Saying,
"Well, I don't know anything about that," is not an excuse. Find out!
Proverbs 19:2 Also, that the soul
be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with
his feet sinneth. Whether you need knowledge in
the word of God or about the devil's devices, you need to inform yourself!
(2 Corinthians 2:11)
Hosea 4:15
Though thou, blip, play the harlot, yet let
not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven,
nor swear, The LORD liveth. God does not want people
who are idolaters to swear by His name nor to gather with His true people.
This is not profanity, but rather pretending that they are God-fearing
and using the talk of Jehovah-worshippers, when in fact they worship devils.
If you are an idol worshipper and/or a "Christian" in name only, God
doesn't want you trying to gather with the true saints and trying to talk
like them. Go serve your father the devil or else get right with
God!
Hosea 4:16
For blip slideth back as
a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.
As it has been pointed out, "backsliding" is an Old Testament
word. This does not mean we can't use it to describe and Christian
today, but keep in mind where it came from. A good New Testament
description of such is "carnal" or "worldly" Christians. 1Corinthians
3:1-4, 1 John 2:15.
Hosea
4:17 Ephraim is joined
to idols: let him alone. God has demanded separation
from idolatry and those that practice it in all periods of the earth's history
and in all the different ways He has dealt with man.
2Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple
of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said,
I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and
they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will
receive you, 1John 5:21
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
1Corinthians 5:11, Revelation 18:4, The Laodicean era that we live
in now (Revelation 4) is full of idolatry. We are to let them alone.
If they want help, they can come to us, we don't have to go get mixed
up in ecumenical messes because "we might help somebody"!
Jeremiah 15:19 Therefore thus saith the
LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt
stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou
shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto
them.
Hosea 5:2
And the revolters are profound to make slaughter,
though I have been a rebuker of them all. It is
common among rebels and revolters that they are known for murder and killing.
See Jeremiah 40-41 and Mark 15:7.
Hosea 5:7
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD:
for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with
their portions. We see an example of this in Nehemiah
13:23-26.
Hosea 5:15-6:2 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. ¶ Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
