That he might learn to not depend on his
circumstances for happiness but on God alone.

midst of his busy schedule and that the Lord might
strengthen him with His strength.
Isa. 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall

shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Eph. 3:16 That he would grant you, according to
the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the

That the Lord would give his wisdom to lead his family -
physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

with well thought through and prayed through goals in life.

which are called, both blips and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the
wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the

That he will resist temptation.

dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
That the fruit of the Spirit would be
exhibited more and more in his life.
Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified
the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Eph. 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now
are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit
of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving
what is acceptable unto the Lord.
That he might learn to love as God commanded.
1Cor. 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is
kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things.
Rom. 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil;
cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another
with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
1John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in
word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
That the Lord would protect him, guarding his course.
Prov. 2:8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and
preserveth the way of his saints.
Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered
by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast
down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
That he might learn to redeem the time well.
Eph. 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
That he might be a mighty man of valour for the Lord.
2Cor. 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that
ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you,
yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea,
what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal,
yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be
clear in this matter.
Gal. 4:18 But it is good to be zealously
affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present
with you.
