Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore
if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
When we get rid of an old thing because of conviction
from the Lord,
we ought to replace it with a good thing. This is a Biblical principle.
Therefore we offer replacements for the typical memorization items,
such as "The Gettysburg Address," reading material, and whatever
else may need to be replaced. Poems may be found here: Poetry
